As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. That whosoever believeth in him should not die, but have eternal life.
When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he.
(It’s a general misconception that in this passages the Saviour says that He will be crucified… This understanding is completely wrong. This is absolutely not so. I am going to explain in details why it’s not so and how it should be understood.
The first obvious questions to ask yourself – why would the ancient Jews ever recognize that the man they crucified was the Saviour?
The Preexistent speaks here about something completely different.)
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up.
Did Moses crucify a snake, before raising it up in the desert? Everybody, probably, understands that he didn’t.
What kind of snake Moses raised? It’s important to understand, isn’t it? It’s important because in exactly the same way the Son of Man should be exalted.
Why? The explanation is given right there: That whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have an eternal life.
In other words, in order to have an eternal life, it’s a necessary to lift up the Son of Man, just as the snake was lifted up by Moses in the wilderness.
What is the Bible talking about? What kind of snake is it? What is an exact way to lift this snake up?
The lifting up a snake was done before Moses, and by Moses. The Saviour speaks about Moses because He explains this to the Pharisee, the interpretor of the laws, the teacher of Israel, because for him Moses was the authority, but not the Egyptians, for example, whose kings were lifting the serpent, as their gods taught them …
Let’s insert here a few images, to illustrate how the symbol of the ascended serpent has been used since ancient times, by those who were initiated into this mystery.
Here are a few drawings depicting how “Moses lifted up a snake in the wilderness” .. probably this scene reminds you of something else.
Tutankhamun … we clearly see a snake and there is even a bird’s head in the forehead of his headdress.
Some other pharaohs…. all with a serpent
If people could understand the true meaning of the snake symbol, they wouldn’t have questions about the construction of pyramids, and other objects of the ancient world.
Here is Shiva… god Shiva… a symbol of power, a symbol of strength and force without equal. Shiva is a personification of a great force, in which different forces are combined, there are many of them and there are many snakes, respectively, they are on his hands and on his neck and inside of him, of course. But, Shiva is a god, not a pharaoh, not a man.
By the way, note that mainly we see here depictions of a cobra. Not in all cases, but as a rule, Shiva is also all in cobras.
Just like the inverted cross of St. Peter, which many see in the Vatican, is being interpreted as a ‘satanic’ cross, so the image of the cobra’s head people interpret as a satanic sign. But what the Satan has to do with this, if even the Saviour Himself says that the Son of Man must be lifted up as a serpent?
He, also, says, “Be ye therefore wise as serpents.”
What does this mean ‘to lift up a snake?” It’s important to write about it, first, so that later it becomes clear how the Son of Man should be exalted.
Those, who know at least something about the “Kundalini,” will find it easier to understand, but just beware of information “from Wikipedia”, because there is the same knowledge as about Christ and about anything – at the lowest level, or even incredibly distorted.
In any case, the process of the ascension of Kundalini is described more or less correctly.
This is an “energy” as they call it, which originates in the lower abdomen and then gradually makes its way up and when it reaches the head, it clears its way in order to go outside.
I will immediately call it a force, and not just an energy, because it is much more accurate.
So, this force clears the way first in the body, then rises to the head, to the brain, clears the way for itself in the brain, in order to go outside.
When this process is completed, and the force has come out, a person gains new abilities, they can actually be different, depending on how forceful this force is, I apologize for tautology, but you can’t say better.
It should be noted that here I wrote mainly in present tense and about those who are now trying to raise the Kundalini. But…
The concept of “Kundalini” is very narrow and the ‘snakes’ the way they were meant in ancient Egypt, or in the case of Moses, were very different in quality and power from what it’s understood now. However, the principle of “ascension” remains the same, that’s why I entered this name here.
This can be called the “force of life from above,” which is given to those who are able to control it. Pharaohs were capable and they were given this force and with the assistance of this force they created their world, their palaces, food for their people, and so on.
Now, let’s talk about the most important.
as the serpent is lifted up, so must the Son of Man be lifted up.
(in other words, the way the force called a snake is being lifted up within a person, the Son of Man must be lifted up within a person.
How is that? Where would the Son of Man come from within us?
Who love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
When ye have lifted up the Son of Man, then shall ye know that I am he.
(In other words, He said to the Pharisees: when the Son of Man comes to you and is exalted in you, only then you will know that he is I.)
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Spirit breathes where Spirit wants, and you can hear its voice, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one who is born of the Spirit.
No man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
They hid knowledge and perverted it, and He knew that it would be so …
Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of Man hath not where to lay his head.
